What's the current going rate for an SKS, say Albanian, Romanian and Yugo models in good shape? It's getting to the point where the ammo is costing more than the damn guns are worth keeping around!

Sell it for $450. Before the maddness you could find a good one for $150. I have no clue how the price went up like crazy overnight.

I'm finding them for $250 in GA. That's Norinco or Yugo.

Wow.  How much for a 1952, primo, unfired Tula Russki with all the OEM accessories?

I think I know the one you speak of. If it's the same one the guy selling it is a good friend of mine. He wouldn't do anyone wrong. At least, I don't think so.

A GunBroker search says that Russian ones are going for $300-$$600, depending on condition. For an unfired one? A heck of a lot compared to other Russkies.

The Russian SKS's are the most beautiful, in my opinion.

Thanks much for the info.  I probably will fire mine eventually, but I'll keep it in primo shape, though.
