A distant relative past away several years ago, and his family gave me a lot of his reloading stuff..
Now for opened powder i know I shouldnt use it, i was wondering what any of this would be worth? I AM NOT TRYING TO SELL THIS IN HERE, I AM TRYING TO GET A VALUE SO I DONT GET HOSED. Handgun: -161x projectiles 160gr .357 -bottom half is copper, top is lead -267x projectiles 110gr .311-.314- cast lead without the wax/lube Rifle: 8mm Mause die w/ 15x 196gr "banana peeling bullets, and 77 180gr Soft points. 122x 180gr .308 Soft Point 61x 150gr .308 Soft Point 71x 180gr Hornady Spire Point 28x 180gr Herter "Banana Peeling" 18x 180gr Hornady round nose So is this worth anything? I would guess they are at least 10-15 years old. The are in good condition. The rifle bullets and .357 are a little "greyish" and need to be tumbled, the lead cast looks brand new. I dont have .308, and i dont reload .357 or .32. Thanks! |
| Why wouldn't you use the powder? If it looks good (no clumps, dry, free of red dust), smells ok (has that delicious gun powder smell), It'll be good to go. I don't know much about those projectiles, but given the fairly low quantities I'd say it probably isn't worth a ton... Maybe cruise around the EE to get an idea of the value. |
