Just surfing around and found that Vang Comp now works on Winchester 1300s, which I have.

Anyone have experience with the Vang Comp system?  Worth the cost?  I know what they write it looks great, but......an additional $300 into the gun....hmmmm.

Depends on what you're going after. They have garnered a helluva reputation for their backboring of barrels. But if it's just bolting on some accessories, you could that yourself and save a ton of money.

What do you want to do with your shotgun?

Vang design his process to tighten buckshot pattern without haveing any adverse effect on the slug shot.  If you hunt with buck, or load your shotgun with buck of duty / self defense usage, and minimize the liability associated with a stray buck (the one that wonder out of the pattern or target) , by all means, get the Vang.  I have two, an 870 and 590A1, and I do believe in the ballastic efficency of the shotgun.

On the other hand, if you want your shotgun to hunt birds, kill some clay and other typeof shotgun activities, screw on chokes might suit you better.  If all you want is to reduce the recoil, Vang can still do a Comp on your shotgun (less costly than Vang).  On the other hand Megna-Port can do the same job for you.
