Has anyone gotten one of these yet? I know Vector has a pretty good name AFA quality goes and I want one of their 40 cals but havn't heard anything about them.

Since I have no use for a 9mm(not to mention Id have to add another caliber to my list) and I already have plenty of 40 cal ammo I was realy considering one, despite the price and the fact mags are pricey.

Any though/experiences/opinions?

Don't let the price of the gun stop you! It's the ammo that you burn up after you buy one of these extremely fun guns that's the money killer.
There so addicting that it's hard to put them down I was shooting mine 3 times a week at 500 rds per session Now I'm down to once a week! I would like to shoot it every day If I could.

I have an OLY Glock 9mm that I shoot often so I know what you mean(pistol caliber is fun to shoot).  I think its alot of money also (for the HK clones) but I'm looking for something a little more compact.  It would be my first HK so I have a feeling if I decide to get one I will be hooked again.  I also like the V-53 pistol but I dont know if I would like the recoil of 223 in a pistol vs. the .40 cal.  I have not heard too much about the .40 yet.  Still researching before I drop that kinda $$$.

I don't have the .40 yet, but I've got both V94P and V53P and there is a slight recoil difference between the 9MM and the .223, as you would expect...  The V53 is heavier, so recoil is pretty tame...  Both are great fun, accurate, and a hoot to shoot...

The V-53 is nice.  Thats what I'm steering towards.  You got any pics of yours you can post.

Anybody else got some Vector .40 cal pics to post?  I would like to see different set-ups.

Thanks,

wolfpak

Very nice.  I like them both.  I bet the 53 really kicks out some flame.  I dont think Vector has anymore V94 right now.  Just the .40 cals.  I think I definately want a pistol cal. SBR or pistol.  I think I'm gonna sell my OLY GL9 and go for a vector.

Did your 53 come with the SEF lower or the Navy lower?
