My son has a 762sdn6 on order. He will be mounting this on his Spikes 10.5" AR. We have located a AAC 7.62 FH mount with a 1/2" x 28 thread. Will this 7.62 mount work on his 5.56 SBR rifle with 1/2" x 28 Thread?
Any issues we should be aware of? Dane |

It will work but you can use the 762sd on a 556 m4-2000 mount as well. Thanks! I found a guy selling the 762 mounts for 75.00. He doesn't have any 556 mounts in stock. At 75.00 each that is not a bad price. I just don't want any issues developing by trying to save a few $$$. Dane |

Dane You did not specify how many teeth were on the mount you found. 762sdn6 needs a 51T mount. |

You may want to consider the muzzle break mount on the 10.5 inch SBR instead of the flash hider. It is a bit more money, but it takes a lot of the abuse and saves the blast baffle from eroding as quickly.
