I am very interisted in anything WWII. I was wondering if any of you would recomend any websites that sell WWII collectables. I like stuff from all countries not just the us or germany

My only advice is buy lots and lots of books and educate yourself.
Anything and everything is reproduced now and someone is wanting to scam the unsuspected. Things I will not buy anymore of, unless from well known dealers, are medals, helmets, and patches. That shit is so faked and people get scammed on it daily. |

Are you thinking of firearms? Here are a couple....
FGS Simpson . This place has interesting US military and foreign military mugs, cups, plates.... Pirates . This place has tons of real surplus and repro stuff, but hard to see all they have, and the monthly ad in Shotgun News is worth checking for deals Strand . For example, I picked up some WWII USN coffee cups and supper plates from Strand Surplus on sale at about ¼ of the high price of the other place. Have fun looking I hope.... |

If you aren't already a big reader, start with something accessible, like Rick Atkinson's excellent Liberation Trilogy (first title: An Army at Dawn) |
