Perspective and angular velocity are all important as well. The longer the wait, the bigger the said weenie is.
This is also based on how many items you are currently waiting for, the more items the smaller the weenie.

1 item + long wait = biggest weenie sucked
multiple items + short wait = smallest weenie sucking
YMMV

Been waiting since last week in May.

But to clarify, had my form 1 returned on Nov 9th for a correction in box 4H.  Sent back to NFA on November 13.  Hopefully will have my stamp by middle of December with any luck.

Think the wait sucks?

Ya know what sucks more? Being in College full time, interferes with part time job, getting let go from said job because of schedule......Receiving your stamp with no money or income.....(got my stamp back last week....)......yeah....I CAN build one....But its hard with no money...

Right now it's in a pistol configuration.

Standard (milspec) RRA lower with 9mm adapter insert, 9mm 10.5 inch RRA upper.  RRA 9mm hammer.  Once I get the stamp I'm planning to add a railed handguard, forward grip inset to accomodate pressure switch for rail mounted tac light.  Bushnell Red Dot, A.R.M.S. BUIS, Will initially use an adjustable MilSpec stock but might change it out for an ACE lightweight fixed stock.  The 9mm magwell adapter accepts standard UZI mags.  Also have a hogue pistol grip and single point sling.

With this set-up I can just drop the magwell adapter out, put on a .223 upper, insert a .223 magazine;  and I'm ready to go with the caliber change.

Will post before and after photos once I get the stamp, the stock, and am able to complete my build.

I sent mine around May.  Came like 3 weeks ago and I revised some ish on it as well.  I'd be happy for Middle of December.  I believe that I'll get the paperwork back as well as the engraved lower around like Middle of January to be conservative and not get myself excited.

When I'm employed and out of CT I'll probably just throw a large amount of cash at the 'problem' and get 2-3 cans done at once.

Edit: Just as I was typing this the God of Firearms heard me and the UPS big brown truck came and dropped off my engraved lower.. now for ATF to get back to me...

@UZI..Holler at them on thursday or friday.  You're close....i'd be surprised if it isn't approved yet.

To the OP, i currently have 2 suppressors and an SBR pending, i feel ya.  My first one came back in August.  It doesn't get any easier.

My best advice is just try to forget about it and let it suprise you when it finally  shows up. Mine took 7 months.

ETA the obligatory SBR pic.

3 stamps pending two sbr and one can. BRUTAL.  $1100 out of pocket for can and nothing to show for it for 6 months is the worst part.
March will be an awesome motherfreaking month though.

Well I mailed my form the first part of Nov. and now I am just collecting and order as many parts as I can and still be legal.  So the BCG has been ordered and the rest of the parts except for the barrel will be ordered during the remaining wait.

I'm with you, collecting parts, filling out forms, and waiting.  When I get my stamps I'll do the tax stamp dance and buy the last pieces I need then.

Living in Louisiana i had to send in paper work to the state first and that was on 10-15-2012. And I am still waiting for that to clear. Then I get it send in my other paper work to the gov.  I will be getting two cans and building a SBR. These are my first cans and SBR. So the wait is killing me.

I sent in my form 1 in late July and it went pending on August 17. According to the NFA wait calculator I have a 53% chance of seeing it in December and a 36% chance of seeing it in January. As much as I don't want to accept it, I imagine January is closer to the truth.

I have a Noveske Lower that I plan on slapping a 10.5 inch Noveske upper on. I plan on testing it with the KX3 on there but more than likely it will come off if all that I have read is true. Anyone know if a Noveske SBR upper will run without the KX3 on there?

Yes, it should run fine with any muzzle device.  The Kx3 is not necessary for a 10.5 to run, and if you do end up having some issues with it, you can swap out buffers and it'll run without a hitch.. although it should not need any tweaking.
