Would it be okay to soak the baffles in hoppes for a day?

I watched the YouTube vid and it was spotless after being wiped down but I don't buy it.

I soak my baffles in hoppe's #9, but it takes more like a week or two for the carbon to just wipe off.  Let is soak long enough, and the carbon will wipe off clean.

I was going to post never mind because I got it.

I used a 10gage brush, 30 cal brush and lots of patches and it got clean. The first time I used a "used" 12 gage brush and that wasn't cutting it but a new 10 did it.

I'll probably stay on top of it a little better now, too.

Thanks for responding.

PS, I now see why people said I made a mistake buying that can but someone's wife shot it at the range yesterday and had no issues with front heaviness.

Clean in a wet stainless steel media in one cycle using dawn and lemon shine spotless. The media does not hurt the aluminum baffles at all.

My griffin resistance 9 with a .22 cal end cap on it. Works great .... I use it on .22 mag and 17 hmr rifles it cleans up really easy.  I shoot the heck out of them and use Franklin Armory stainless steel media tumbler.
