Why would you want a flip to side mount? I am curious. If it is dark, you would run the pvs-14, if it isnt dark, wouldnt you want it off the gun entirely?

Take a look at AB Night Vision's mount, DLock's and TNVC's mount. Each has it's own advantages. Any of them will work great (I have personally tried the AB and DLock mounts, but the TNVC mount is also highly spoken of.)

I've been looking at the GG&G mounts, TNVC mount, LaRue Tactical Mount. The AB mount looks interesting also. I was leaning towards the TNVC mount just because I know they are serious about their night gear. The GG&G mounts looks very nice also, they have a version like the TNVC mount and another mount that may be better in some ways.

PRI M-69 is probably one of the most adjustable mounts available and allows for complete height control so you can set up proper alignment with your red dot. Also a little expensive... I have one up for grabs in the EE, so any questions you want about it before i sell it. It is made for a pvs-14, and doesn't work with my binocular setup, which is why i am selling it. Really solid mount.

Yeah that's the best dedicated weapon mount for sure, however I prefer something easy to transition from helmet to weapon and back with ease. I was looking more at the one with the Aimpoint Twist mount from TNVC. https://tnvc.com/shop/tnvc-tm14-mk2-pvs-14-weapon-mount Of course this GG&G mount looks nice as well. http://www.gggaz.com/pvs-14-quick-detach-multi-flex-night-vision-mount.html I'm digging the low price of the AB Night Vision mount though. http://www.abnightvision.com/#!products/c1wmo/products/quick-detach-weapon-mount Tough choices right...

If its your only monocular I'd go with a IR laser. Much easier then fumbling around in the dark trying to move stuff around. And if you aren't quick enough whatever you had a shot on isn't going to patently wait while you do.

You might want to make sure you have a metal focus stop ring if you're going with one of those mounts. I know the ab setup requires it, but they all sorta mount the same way.
