We have all been there where we build a gun around one part. Somewhere I have a stainless gas block with the front sight from a full auto shorty. If I want to make an SBR A-team clone, do any current Minis have a barrel that would fit this gas block? Thanks. |
I don't know how this works, but I nominate Joker and Fluffy for arfcom sainthood.
| You may be able to relieve the inside areas of the two halves to fit the larger diameter barrel. I’ve been contemplating doing something similar with one of those new factory folders since they already come equipped with the proper gas block and then use a Samson top half. |

I have wondered why Ruger has never introduced a pistol version of the mini with that style sight. Other big 556 platform rifle mfrs like FN have made pistol variants - Ruger is just not interested. Add a short barrel, remove stock, leave grip and some 1913 rail for brace options or add a tailhook to their legendary folder |
