| Since obtaining my c&r I've gotten ahold of quite a few rifles and pistols I like. M1 garand , 91/30's, m44 , nagant pistol. I'm wondering what should be next on the list to get. I really would like to get a ww2 k98 for a good decent price but can't seem to find them . Other than that I'm not sure what would be a good pickup . So what do you guys recommend ? |

Grab an M95, at slightly over $100 its an easy rifle to add to the collection with several on-line retailers offering them.
Also, look into a Carcano. Should be easily found in local LGS, pawn shop, or even Gunbroker for the $200 range. Finally, look into Turk Mauser. Granted they are generally mix-masters and a little rough in fit and finish, but are still generally sub $200 guns. |

Definitely would love to get a k98 but haven't seen many sites with them. Wouldn't mind a sks,1903, k31 or an enfield. Just so many options would like to get them all eventually. Just want something different and fun to shoot for the time being. Widener's still has K98's, they are RC and have defaced eagles. $400 |

I'm a big history buff and believe we should know the past and learn from the mistakes. With that said I would like to find one with the markings intact or at least some of them . But I do like history value of the Russians capturing them :) Arguably, the penned marking add more history (not value) with Comrade defacing the marks of the Nazi filth they had vanquished

| Arisaka Type 99 or 38. The japanese gear is severely underrated and as such is ridiculously undervalued. Ammo is still commercially loaded and they are accurate and fun to shoot. I got my first one a few years ago for $150. I now have 8, and have yet to pay more than $200 for one. |
