I officially have BRD.

I own two FALs.
I own two M1As, one an EBR, one normal.
I own a CETME.
I own a PTR91.
I own an AR10.

What else is there in 7.62x51?

Or has the insanity ended?

MINIGUN

A good bolt gun is a nice break from auto loaders... 700 PSS/VS with a good optic will give you hour's of shooting pleasure without burning up tons of ammo.

That's what the Ar-50 is for.

I reload, so ammo costs are much, much less.

Seriously, what is there?

And not coming, but here, now, new or used.

Are Valmets worth it? Saigas? Galils?

ak and ar, then a bolt gun

I say bolt gun! REM 700 with good scope.

Let's see:

Ak? Check, 47 and 74. (Don't like 'em)

AR? Check, qty. 4, including a 9mm, and 5.56 in 16", 20", and 24" flavours.

And for bolt gun, the AR50 and a cool 03A3.

Really, what about other 7.62/.308 stuff?

I am considering a 700...

Anyone?

The new Kel-Tec bullpup .308 looks nice, that may be in my future.

There are some rarities like the Galil .308 or a Sig AMT.

You could get a Garand in .308, or you could just get the .30-06 version.

Similiar to to a M1a but in a much more compact form.

A Beretta BM-62.

It shoots better than the PTR091 or the HK 91.

Beretta BM59 or 62, Galil, Sig AMT.

Interested in the BM62, how much should I pay for one?

And in a similar vein, how is the Beretta AR-70?

Got the Garand, .30-06.

What about that NDM-86? How much, how weird, how cool?

I like the Kel-Tec, despite the claimed price. I'll get one.

SIG AMT: don't know much. Same questions as above.

Vepr 308.

Wait a second, no bolt gun.  You need a PSS or a Savage 10FP

Hope this helps.

the last new NDM-86 went for $1700.00 a few years ago from CDNN.  IIRC they are in the $2000-$2500 range now, but then again they tend to go for what the market will support.  which means sometimes less and sometimes way more.  last time i checked the CDNN website and they still have the magazines listed for $70 a piece.

I prefer the BM-59 to the 62, has the built in bipod and tri-compensator....much neater looking.

HAC-7...Collector's item.  I shot one many years ago.  It wasn't able to go through one magazine without stovepiping.  I think the design has potential though.

And in a similar vein, how is the Beretta AR-70?got to handle a few back in the 80's, but never got to shoot one, overall i thought they were nice rifles, not sure how much they go for now, haven't seen a real one (someone is selling parts kits and US made recievers now) for sale in this area in years

SIG AMT: don't know much. Same questions as above.one like new with a boat load of options went for 7k+ on gunbroker a month or so ago, another used one sold recently for 3600,  HTH
