While I'm waiting to buy a GSG-5 (everyone locally is out right now), I'm also looking for an HK-type claw/piccatiny optic mount that I can put a Bushnell Holosight on. What are my options? I noticed on this thread an image of one with an Eotech on a "mount that came with the gun from the factory". Do all GSG-5s come with a mount? I'm confused... where do I look to purchase a mount and what different ones are out there? Thanks! |

I just put my Bushnell HoloSight on my GSG with a mount that I got from Steve at Adco. It was $26 shipped. Steve is a stand up guy and an ARFCOM member. Unfortunately, I think the mounts are now on back order, but it can't hurt to send Steve an e-mail to inquire about availability. Linky: ADCO If you go with another mount, I suggest that you stay away from the NcStar low profile mount as it will not work with your HoloSight. I found this out the hard way. Also, search the GSG page for another member's post about the problems he was having mounting his EO Tech to the GSG. Apparently, the mount he used caused the EO Tech to cant to the left. I think you'd have the same problem given that the HoloSight and EO Tech are pretty much the same. |
