Have been looking in some catologs advertising Colt factory preban uppers model in question is the AR6920DC upper it has the lg.double lined hand guard,A2 flash supp. small front pin stepped bbl,detatable carry handle bayo lug,no mention of feed cuts,the 4 above gas tube,they are 1/9 not 1/7 and I do not know if the bbls.are chrome lined or not are these true M4 uppers or is there something about them I don't know

Yes, they ARE chrome lined. I had one for a short period and since then have seen/had two other Colt 1/9 M4 barrels and all were c.l.  They are indeed still considered a true M4 upper, though it may be 16" rather than 14.5".

I just got mine.  It is a 1/7, Colt M4 flattop upper with carry handle, B/BC/CH, installed side-sling, sling and cleaning kit.  It even came with the new Colt collapsible buttstock.

Kevin did the one you own have the feed ramp cuts and the #4 stamped just above gas tube and was it the model I am considering getting.

Yes, the same in every way but I didn't order it through a distributor using 'AR6920DC' but that is what the upper was.

Thanks a lot I am new to the buying parts & uppers I have two prebies One has A1 sights 20" bbl.A2 flash supp.bayo lug other is GC6520 the latter is the one I want to put M4 upper on I want to do it right first,it's less expensive!
