I need a cheap basic griffin taper mount in 20 tpi, I think? The same thread as the old mag lights.
My handguard is about 2" longer than the barrel with a griffin taper brake. When not shooting it suppressed, I'd like to be able to make a simple flash can to put on it, made from a left over piece of tubing. Figured making a taper mounted flash can would make the most sense. Unless there's a better idea? |

Hansohn Bros has one as well. Don’t recall if the sleeve is steel, though.

I was primarily looking for a mount itself and make the shield part myself but considering time & cost, it's definitely a cost effective option. |

I would just look for a used or take off mount someone is selling on the EE or the like.

It's made for their D-Cell tubes which are 1.5"OD, so double check to make sure it will fit under your handguard. https://sdtacticalarms.com/product/griffin-thread-protector/ |
