| Christmas is coming up and I am thinking of ideas for my wife to get me. I was thinking about a new backpack because I have been meaning to buy one within the year. I really like Maxpedition's stuff. This bag will save as a BUG out bag/range and class bag when I need it as one for extra supplies. I don't want it to be huge and I want two arm straps. Any ideas which one? |

If I were going to buy a BUG Backpack, I'd want sternum and hip straps for long trekn'
If the hip straps can be set up for quick access to mags and medical all the better. That pretty much leaves theVulture-II
You can generally find it for about $135 with out to much trouble. |

I'm putting together a lightweight pack and I ordered the Condor II. Belatedly, I realized I should have ordered the Vulture II. To try to corrct this, I ordered a few extra pouches to strap to it, expanding it to be about 2200 cu. in. As I fill it, I will keep ARF updated as to how it works out for me.
Edit: nevermind, I was able to upgrade to the Vulture II. |

I have a falcon 2. Nice small pack. Putting a pistol in the back compartment where the velcro is doesn't fly for me because it digs into your back. Dumb place to keep your gun anyway
I think the best readily available assault pack is the camel bak tri zip. Real frame, real belt, good organization, lotsa molle. It's 195 at Skd. Oh you get a bladder with the camel bak. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |
