I'd like a red dot for my BA50, but don't know which ones are .50bmg appropriate.

I would not hesitate to run EOTech, Trijicon, or Aimpoint on a .50 BMG rifle. If you are looking for BDC both EOTech and Trijicon make models that will do this. Also need to decide if you want magnification or not. Be sure you choose a quaility mount like LaRue or ARMS.

I have a Russian Kobra I bought many years ago.
2MOA red dot, coin style battery, all metal design (RUGGED!) There is a little travel limit setscrew on the elevation knob. If you remove it you get over 200MOA of elevation... I've shot it out to 1400 yards.
