I recently had on gunbroker ( removed ) a 98- 99% IB HK93 that I acquired for partial payment on some work. It has a 1/12 barrel twist. which one could say has its limitations with ammo choice. I am not a collector of no longer imported firearms, though some are.
Was trying to get a Colt6920 recently, but decided against paying the current and probably continued high price. I like the fact the colt has a 1:7 barrel, more versatile

Do you think I should keep the HK or try to trade it off for a colt with ammo and cash?

trade, my 1:12 throws 62 like a boss all over the place, mag changes are a pita  and mags are $$$

I'd say keep the HK and save for the AR

Keep the HK, it'll be worth 5x or more than an AR if a ban passes.

sell it....no use keeping firearms you don't like.  buy something you want.  you'll get some good money for the HK.
