I bought a couple of the cheaper red dots from Bushmaster last week  (cheaper PA red dot copies)and I am looking to mount one my 10/22 TD.

It came with the 1/3 co-witness riser for an AR and I am looking for the cheapest base appropriate for the 10/22.

Can anyone recommend something that is not more expensive than the sight itself?

What sight do you have?

Is it a PA micro dot? I did not know there were cheaper clones of a clone of an Aimpoint. lol

I would mount it straight to the 10/22 factory scope mount if the sight can, but if not then take a look at the UTG Bushnell TRS-25 mount.

They look the same but the led is at a 6 oclock position, they are not as bright.

PA uses better LED's and has them nitrogen purged.

These were 44$ on Bushmaster clearance page.

I do however have a PA micro dot from the black friday sale as well.

ill look at the UTG mount.

Thanks!

But why do you want the mount?

Is your 10/22 in standard config? I am asking cause a mount would put the dot really high and you would have no cheek weld, but if its a tactical stock then go nuts.

OP is talking about this thread.
Bushmaster Red Dot ( PA Similar )

I bought 2 of these. And since they are not 100% like the PA Micro's, they have been pretty good for my needs at this point.
I bought 2 since one is on my wife's AR with a 22 conversion kit.

This year sometime I do plan on picking up a 10/22 and have been trying to find a way to mount this dot. I just dont know where to start. Nor do I want to put a $100+ plus base on a $44 dot either.
Call me cheap, but the this would be the first one, and I'm sure the next couple would be custom builds. How I did it with my AR's too.

Correct.

I have 2 of the linked red dots as well as a PA micro from the black friday deal.

I sent PA an email asking about getting just the low mount like the MD-06 has.

Ill update with what they have as a solution.

If nothing else Ill just use them on future range gun builds.

Everything everyone says about PA is true.

Thy are sending me the correct riser for the cost of shipping....

Lost a turret cap last range trip and they sent me a free one of those also. Had it in about 3 days...

These guys rock.

Lots of guys sell the low mount on EE when they mount these on AR15's.

The low mount is the way to go on a 10-22, that is what I did and it works well.
