Which Roller handle should i get for my 550 Plastic or metal?

I was wondering if one was etter than the other?

I use the ball, it doubles as a club when needed.

I'd go the blue metal one if I were considering turning into a NancyBoy.

I paid the extra $5 for the aluminum––it matches.

Edit: I just had a guy loading on my press yesterday and we talked about the difference in the handles. If you are loading in volume the roller handle is WELL worth the money.

go aluminum, I don't even see the logic of making two different types of handles for a $5 difference in price, just make one and be done with it

Get the alum one adds extra bling, plus if you are loading alot makes a difference in comfort

Granted I do not have a progressive press just my single stage Lee presses. They both have wooden balls on them (feel free to insert joke here

) I noticed that when I was doing quite a few rounds on the press that my hands would get a bit sore from the friction on the handle. So I decided to fix that and cut a tennis ball to put over the wooden handle. Works great, and you get that fuzzy feeling too!

I still have the ball one my 650, so if I am doing a lot of work on it (case prep, etc) I got Mike "touch my son" Jackson and one glove it. Usually a jersey glove, but if I am going to be pulling on my ball for a while, leather

That's just unnatural!

Maybe it's not right, but once you get used to the roller handle, the ball had to go.

It's not a bolt on, you have to be handy.
