[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Which scope

I've narrowed down now to three scopes: Falcon 4-14x44 FFP , Wotac 4-14x50, Super Sniper 10x42. They're all in the price range im willing to spend. Just trying to find one that stands out from the rest, I will be using this for hunting and target practice. I know the SS gets a lot of good reviews but I fear the fixed power for hunting.

I just picked up a Pride Fowler 3-9x42mm NIB for 499.95 shipped. Don't know what your budget is. My 02. Looks like you want greater magnification.

That is a little more than I wanted to spend, but that is a great price for that scope. Where did you pick that up if you don't mind. A 3x9 would be probably better suited for my hunting.

Yeah, they have the best price on Pride Fowler scopes that I have found. The scope was on GunBroker.com. The have the 10x42 also and may be able to get one of the scopes you are looking at. Maybe worth an email to them.

I think Pride Fowler offers the best M14 scope for the money and I plan to try their new illuminated 2.5-10X42
when/if it goes public. I will compare it to the Leupold scopes that are currently installed on two of my M14s.
