300BO subs suppressed or 9mm suppressed?

Thinking about Scorpion EVO suppressed vs another .300BO SBR build

I found 9mm 158gr subs through my Tirant 9 to be quieter than subs through my 300BO with a SDN-6.  I haven't tested different ammo with the 300BO, nor have I tested it with my new silent capture recoil buffer, which I'm expecting will make a difference.

I would imagine the can used will matter a lot, but the 9mm has a lot less powder burning. My 9mm AR suppressed sounds really quiet with both fiocchi 158 and american eagle 147. My 9 inch AAC sounds pretty quiet with remington and gemtech 220gr subs.  But I would say 9mm would have the edge, but my 300blk is more accurate past 50 yards..

I have a 300BLK and 9mm suppressed pistol, for just subsonic fun I would do 9mm as it is MUCH easier and cheaper to reload.  I am looking to get an EVO just for this purpose.

The 9MM is going to be the quietest one that will function the AR. I've had some really quiet 300 subs, but they wouldn't cycle the action. All you'll hear is the action.
