Are there any in stock around $1000? Is the EE gonna be my only real option in that price range?

Watch the Marketplaces, I have picked up one from here in the "Rifles" marketplace and also on FALFILES in their marketplace.  Both were close to $1000.

I truly wish you good luck in finding a FAL... A good, non-Century Arms FAL for around $1K that doesn't require a re-build.

Hell, I purchased a DSA built StG-58 FAL rifle for around $1,100.00 back in 2007.  With all the craziness in the current markets, I don't see anybody selling a quality U.S. made, FAL parts gun for less than $1,500.00.

Maybe when "things" return back to normal within the next 6 to 16 months AND people start selling off some of their impulse weapons purchases, the prices will start to come down again.
