I'm not finding much info on the Winchester model 320 which is a box magazine fed bolt action .22LR rifle.
A few years ago I got one in a multi-gun deal. Its in excellent condition but was missing the magazine. I finally located an original 10 round mag and mounted an older but still good Bushnell Sportsview 3-9x32 scope. This combo works perdy good at the 25 yard indoor pistol range but I have yet to try it out to 100+ yards. I removed the wood stock from the action for cleaning and inspection. On the action under the stock a roll mark said Made in Australia. The action and trigger on this rifle feels good and smooth. Does anyone here have a Winchester Model 320 rifle or first hand experience with one. Are they good rifles? Any info at all? Thank You Much VonBarky |
| I do not have a 320, however, I do have a 310 ... the single shot version. They are well made, reliable quite accurate and if memory serves me they are not blued, but, rather black chromed. I seem to remember having read something years ago about the gun being designed by the fellows that run Warne Mfg. before they moved to the USA. I am a bit surprised you don't see more of them around. I always wondered what the sales numbers were. There have been a number of queeries on Rimfire Central about them. They seem to be a rare item. |
