I'm just about to make the last payment on my Windrunner and I'm wondering what if any of the accessories/options I should get.

I'm pretty sure I'm going to at least get a bore guide unless there is one available elsewhere that works as well.$75

Should I buy the hardcase from EDM? I thought I had read that it's a Starlight. At $375 could I get the same case elsewhere cheaper or substitute a Pelican or Hardigg?

Is the adjustable cheekpiece/butstock worth it? Seems like a pricey option at $525

I'm planning on having the Cheytac style tube added later so I'm not worried about the factory bipod setup

Thanks for any help

I would wait until you've played with it a bit before springing for the adjustable cheekpiece buttstock.  It's easy to fix/replace that later to fit your particular face and optic.  FWIW, if you're cheap (like me), you can modify your own buttstock.  It helps to have some metalworking experience if you go the DIY route, though.

The adjustable butstock is nice but I don't know if it's $525 nice. Try the basic version and upgrade if you feel the need.

I wouldn't bother with the factory starlight case. Starlight is my least favorite of the big three high end cases.

You will love it. I did the tube handguard conversion and it is well worth it. You can get an adaptor fron RND that allows you to use the bipod you get with it on your tube conversion.

Well it's paid for and they told me that they are more caught up now than they have ever been with almost 30 rifles just about ready to go.

They're telling me 1-2 weeks rather than months

Now I just need to buy some ammo

Anyone know of a good deal? I want something with new or once fired LC or WCC cases. No surplus, I plan to reload for this beast.
