Mine came with a broken front sight insert on slug barrel,it was brass . Anyone know where I could find one?

You can also call and order parts directly from Remington. I've found that it's sometimes cheaper to get it right from them rather than a third party.

Besides the other good suggestions above I would check Midwayusa and Brownells.

Where in TN are you. I'd be willing to bet my gunsmith in Morrison has that in stock.

Thanks all,but SOL after dozens of emails and calls Remington got back with me,it is 1951 first year of production and that brass sight was made only one year to be replaced with more than six other
sizes to date. I called all the above parts houses and they laughed. Got the current one and my gunsmith is going to cut and fit for me. Last time I order a used police gun from Mark at Summit Gunbroker
or anything from that place again.
