My dealer has both.  The Wraith costs a little more but seems more flexible.  Anyone know how the sound compares?  I can't imagine there is much difference.  Which would you choose?

Buy Both in true ARFCOM fashion.

Not sure.  Outback has been the quietest of any I have heard, besides the integral suppressed barrels.

for a thread mount I would go with the outback and for a QD I would check into the Warlock from SWR or take a look at AAC. i have not heard the YHM can but I'm sure it is a good can. I really want a YHM 30 phantom. I think that the outback II is a great value at the price it can be had at and it is hard to justify the extra $$ but buy what you want. I don't think you can go wrong with any of them, but as I said if it were me I would buy the outback II over the YHM.

Looks like the larger diameter YHM silencer blocks the Walther P22 sights, Outback 2 is definatly not reccomended for full auto fire.  So I guess it depends upon what you are using it on.

It will pretty much live on a .22 AR so I'm not worried about the size.  I don't have a full auto yet but hope to some day.  I'm leaning towards the YHM but would like to hear from someone who has used one.  It's only $35 more than the outback.  I'm going to town tomorrow, probably going to buy one or the other.

I have not metered one against an Outback II, but the Wraith was the quietest .22 suppressor when metered against an SWR Warlock and an Advanced Armament Pilot.  The spread was only 2db total, but the tone of YHM was very pleasing and the Pilot was at the other end of the spectrum having a much harsher tone and the highest sound signature of the three.

Never mind.  I mis-read.

Well, I did it.  Bought the Wraith today.  Paperwork is at the Sheriff's and should be ready tomorrow.  Now the fun begins.
