After too many problems to talk about my suppresor finally arived and I made the 2 hour drive to pick it up. The dealer advised me to get a Wolf threaded barrel for my Glock to put it on. Fortuanately I took my gun with me and when the dealer tried to scre it on the can threads were to large ie you could put my threded barrel into the can without the threads hardly touching. He made a call to the maker and they said it had the wrong internals and the ones that came were for a tactical gun???????

I eneded up taking the can and I am now suppose to wait for the new internals to arrive that will fit my barrel....

This is my first suppresor (3 others on order through a different Dealer) and I do not know all of the nomenclature yet but what is going on?? I did not think you could get any more tactical then a Glock and the barrel is the same size as an HK??????

Thanks for any feedback....

My best guess would be the thread on the suppressor is for an HK Tactical (since he mentioned "tactical") and the threads on your glock barrel are something else.

That's probably correct, your barrel is likely .578-28 threads which are smaller than the HK Tactical threads which are M16x1 IIRC.  Not really anyone's fault, other than maybe yours.

Pretty much the standard in the US for .45 threaded barrels is 0.578-28, and a good part of the reason is that the barrels for the M1911 are 0.580" diameter. HK has introduced a European metric thread primarily because they are a European country.

Lone Wolf, as far as I know, makes an outstanding Glock barrel, and I have always seen their barrels in the 0.578-28 thread. Most suppressor manufacturers make several thread options for their .45 suppressors, and I would suggest that you contact the manufacturer to find out his procedure/cost for changing the suppressor threaded mount.

Thanks for the great feedback. That helps alot. I will not accept resonsibility however as I ordered the can reccomended by the Dealer and bought the barrel he told me to...I'm a Republican and have no problem admitting taking responsiblity when I am wrong!
