| No Aimpoint in my future. Every one I have looked through looks like a cluster of grapes. The Millett is nice and round for me and I found it to be as bright as the Aimpoint under bright sunlight. I also like to be able to vary the dot size depending on the shooting. The 10 MOA is real quick up close and 1-2 MOA works better for precision. Battery life is good enough as I get a year out of one under normal use. |

Probably has an astigmatism. My Aimpoint and Eotech's bloom a little because of it, but they are still so much better optics I deal with it. |

I got my eyes checked and no astigmatism. Eotech's look real fuzzy as well. AImpoint's are the worst looking tube RDS to my eye's. I know its me, but it's the hand I've been dealt. If I ever swap out my Millett it will be for a Tripower as the chevron is super clear to me and the brightest in bright sun. I wish the battery life was better, but only really use it at night when using a rifle light as the fiber optics tend to wash out.
The only problem I have ever had with the Millett is that the dial would shift under a lot of firing. One wrap of electrical tape and now it stays put yet is adjustable. LE pricing on the Milletts, Bushnell now, puts them at a nice in between range. I really like the auto intensity adjustment and it has never done anything funky. |

Same problem with me, I had a T1 on my ar and the dot looked like a big blob. Weird thing is I always though I had really good eye sight, can see everything clearly but apparently I must have a slight astigmatism, well at least when i look through an Aimpoint Either way it was so annoying I had to take it off and go back to iron sights. Thinking I will try a Eotech and see how it goes since dot is only 1 MOA...
ETA: Oh and nice looking SBR! |

Here's my XCR family pics. http://i189.photobucket.com/albums/z260/Martens813/DSCN2431.jpg http://i189.photobucket.com/albums/z260/Martens813/DSCN2434.jpg http://i189.photobucket.com/albums/z260/Martens813/DSCN2438.jpg I weighed them on my bathroom scale which only reads to the 1/2 pound. All weights are as pictured with a loaded mag and all accessories. The micro checked in at 9.0 pounds (felt lighter), the SF at 10.0 and the SPR at 10.0. That's a freaking awesome collection! |

very nice. just don't like the fal charging handle location Quoted:
I just got my stamp back and could finally remove the barrel extension. Here are some pics of my XCR micro. I do plan to get some Troy low sights for it, but other than that it is done. http://i189.photobucket.com/albums/z260/Martens813/th_XCRPICS001.jpg http://i189.photobucket.com/albums/z260/Martens813/th_XCRPICS002.jpg This thing is so light and handy. It is smaller than an MP5!!! |

Middle one is a 14.5 with a pinned brake. It is running a mini upper instead of cutting off rails. If you cut rails, the cut ends up in the middle of a cooling slot, although it works just fine from what I have been told.
The mini upper shaved a few ounces all from the front. It really did move the point of balance rearward in my estimation. |
