Recently purchased a Robinson Arms XCR and have generally been pretty happy with the gun. A little heavier up front than an AR, but I like the balance. Gun overall is rock solid. Have put about 150-200 rounds through it without a single problem. I do have one question/complaint about the trigger. Does anyone experience trigger slap? I find that sometimes it's worse than others, but that after 40-50 rounds, my index finger is actually a little numb. Also, I find the trigger a little on the heavy side and occasionally, particularly after my finger gets a little numb, I will pull through the second stage. In other words, because the initial stage is pretty heavy, I will not be able to feel and or miss the second stage. I've never had this problem with any of my other rifles. Am probably going to send the gun out to Bill Springfield for a trigger job, but I was just wondering if others have had the same experience with the stock trigger. |

Just thought I'd give this thread a bump. Come on you XCR owners. BTW - put another 50-60 rounds through this gun on Saturday. Other than the trigger, I'm really starting to like this gun. Shooting at a silhouette target at 100 yards from a sitting position I was able to get about 70-75% of my shots in the 10 ring, and nearly all the rest in the 9 ring. That's about as good as I can do with any of my rifles. |

Hi, One of the side benefits of one of my trigger jobs is a great reduction/elimination of the trigger slap. The trigger is set up not to kick back as far during reset after being pulled/fired. Thanks, Bill Springfield [email protected] |

I can't say I've ever noticed trigger slap with mine and I really hold the trigger back until my sights are back on target before I reset for the next shot. I would shoot it another couple hundred rounds as mine loosened up a bit by 500 and then again after 1500 or so. Sending mine to Bill is next after the SBR. The 12 inch barrels look so good and I wouldn't mind a little more compact gun for work. |

Hi, A receiver over the border would be a pain; however, sending the trigger, hammer and disconnector would be fine. I can set it up, then send it back with detailed instructions for the final fitting. Email me direct. Thanks, Bill [email protected] |

I can also work any AK model, $35 will get you a very short, smooth clean break. Only the fire control group is needed. Email me, Bill [email protected] |
| Bill, definitely going to be sending my XCR to you for some trigger work, since this is the only thing I don't really like about the gun. However, I just got the gun and am having so much fun shooting it that I want to put a couple of hundred rounds through it before I send it out to you. |
