Just how hard do you have to hit the trigger group pins to drift them out of the receiver?  I have never taken out the trigger parts before and they are not really budging.  My AR trigger pins are much easier to pop out and I just don't want to go swinging away on the lower and risk damaging something.  Is there some trick I don't know about?  I appreciate any help you could offer.

Make sure you remove the cotter key on the hammer spring first.  Then push the hammer back a bit and they should push out by hand with a punch.  Once the hammer and hammer spring are out, the trigger pin should push out easily.

Ya....there's a cotter pin you have to remove.

This will help (with pics!)

Thanks for the links with the pics and diagrams.....very helpful.  I didn't even look close enough at the cotter pin and I thought it was just part of the spring

Back on the project after good ol' Mom left town after a short visit.........looks like removing the selector is neccessary, otherwise the trigger won't slide out from under it.

I think I need to spend more time on XCRforums
