Do Robinson Armament XCRs accept aftermarket AR trigger groups such as the Geissele?  One complaint I've seen from a few XCR reviews here is the stock trigger pull needs improvement, so I thought maybe there is an easy upgrade.

Thanks,
Karl

I dont believe the parts are compatable as my buddy bought one that I looked over the other day & I recall the lowers being vastly diffrent internially

They are two differnt designs, I really like my XCR  but the trigger was lacking.  I sent mine to Bill Springfield and he did a really good job.  [email protected]

Thanks guys. It was wishful thinking. I knew RA used different trigger group parts, but I thought maybe they had kept the safety/pin locations in the same relative positions as ARs.  In pictures, it looks like it might be that way.  MrMason, your review was one of the ones that got me to thinking about this stuff.  I look forward to owning an XCR.  I have a long wait ahead of me before I can afford one.

Thanks for the kind words MrMason. The XCR has a different trigger group from the AR, but the contact point geometry is similar. 3.75 to 4lbs clean break is possible.

Disclaimer: You assume all responsibility for modifying your trigger, IN NO WAY is anyone else responsible if you are incapable of doing minor gunsmithing. Have a qualified gunsmith work on it for you.

There is a way to modify the trigger to be single stage 4 1/4 pounds. If you are capable of some minor work with a file then email me for directions.
