Does Lee make a die similar to the RCBS "X-Die" ?

Has anyone used the RCBS X-Die?

What are your thoughts of it?

I dunno.

Yes, works as advertised, as long as you follow the instructions to the letter––no big deal.

It works, (see above), but will NOT give unlimited case life.  The X-dies prolong the life of cases  considerably, depending on how much the cases are stressed on each firing.
If you do nor stress the case much, as in hunting/pest loads, then maybe a great extension of case life.  OTOH, if the case is used wit  a max load every time, maybe 50% extension of case life over conventional dies.
If you use X-dies, then it is essential for you to be able to detect incipient case head seperation, which is the most common case hazard.
Go look that up, and report back.  It's not rocket science, but it's something to think about and do if you're wanting to squeeze every bullet out of every case.  I use X-dies, but there's a limit––-

The reason people don't jump all over posts asking about X-Dies are we usually see one a month.

So to answer your questions:

No

Yes

Love them

and +1 to raf's comments

What else do you want to know?

raf hit the nail on the head with his post. i use them +like them but i don't use them on my target quality ammo. i don't know why but i still use my full length sizer for match ammo, but then agin i never gave the x-die a chance on match ammo. might be my loss

Does Lee or Hornady make a die similar to the RCBS X-Die?
If so, what is it called.

Thanks for all the responses.

No.  RCBS is currently the only manufacturer that I know of that makes the X-Die or anything similar.  Just like the other posters have said - it works; follow the setup instructions; understand that all brass has a finite life.
