I am looking at my first suppressor. I do not know much about them. I would like a OPS Inc 12 but do not think I can spend the money. Looking for a .223 model. It seems that YHM are a lot cheaper then most others. Are these good for the 1st time user? Are there any issues with them?

This gets asked at least once a week. With that said, I also asked months ago when I was getting mine..
I have one and it is a fine can. I cant compare to others as the YHM SS is my first can. Rock solid, a bit heavier than it competition, QD mounting and an Inconel blast baffle. I like it for the money. |
| I had a chance to test out the YHM 5.56mm suppressor and it worked well. I did notice it was a little on the heavy side compared to some other suppressors I've played with, but it seemed to be made solid. I threaded it onto my 11.5" barreled M-16 and shot a few mags through it without any issues. |
