Has anyone seen one of these yet? It seems like a SWR copy somewhat, but I like the design of it. I'm hesitant about it because the mite was so awful.

I was looking at the new huntertown 22 can, and then I saw this one on silencer shop, but google basically told me to f myself when I tried to find info on it.

K-baffle, so it should be better than the mite, and the stack is "sealed" from the tube so it should be much easier to disassemble.

I would still probably prefer my Sparrow.

It's more like a copy of the Gemtech Alpine than the SWR suppressors.

It's a better design but not quite as good as the SWR CTA design. When you are disassembling the baffles, you are pulling the cone out against all the fouling that has built up on the skirt of the baffle in front of it - and if it's been awhile, it can take a bit of effort to get them apart.

It looks like the baffles are designed to keep that fouling away from the tube, so I don't think it'll be hard to take apart.

It's easy to get the baffles out of the tube but not so easy to get them apart.

Here's my crude attempt at a diagram:

The red is one baffle with cage and the black is another baffle with it's respective cage.

Fouling from the port of the red baffle sticks on the cage of the black baffle.

When you try to pull the baffles apart, the skirt from the red baffle has to dislodge all the fouling on the cage of the black baffle before it can come out. Wait too long and it can be a bitch to get out - at least that's been my experience with the Alpine. Now if the skirt diameter of the Stinger is a bit smaller than the cage inner diameter, it won't be as difficult.

Makes sense. From the few pictures that are out there it looks like the skirt might be a little smaller.
