What is it? Most towns and cities will "zone" areas to determine what can be done those particular areas. If an area is "zoned" residential then no business's can be operated there. If it is "zoned" business or commercial then it is restricted to business only. Check with city hall to get a zoning map. |

dangerdan,
I forgot where you live in Texas, so a city with zoning may not be close. Houston is famous for not having "zoning", that's why you sometimes see a carwash or WalMart go up right in the middle of an unlikely piece of property. Although Houston does not have zoning, it does have "deed restrictions" which can carry over to succesive property owners. In addition, homeowners associations can have covenants or regulations that serve as restrictions on property development. |

DogtownTom, I am in Carthage, near Louisiana (I live in a small rural community).
Also: The 1st stage of the 1909 will be finished by the end of this month. At least thats what the 'smith said. I don't plan on getting an FFL anytime soon. I'm still stationed in Hawaii. Until I get a place to settle in is when I will think about getting an FFL. As of now, I'm just going through my 7 P's |
