I screwed up my Warlock 22lr suppressor and Joe fixed it for free. What happen?? I have a little Beretta 21a (22lr). I had it threaded by Todd in North Augusta SC which is who SWR recommends. Todd does GREAT work. Well, I have found the Augilla ultra high velocity HP's will expand just as it leaves the barrel. This only happens with the Beretta md21 a. This is seen because it will punch a perfectly round 38cal hole in paper regardless of the range shot. This happens 100% all the time, this isn't a keyhole or even a off-balance round, but a round that expands when fired. I fired a couple of rounds off of regular and then it happened. 2 rounds of the 'magic' bullet got fired. There was a train going by at the same time so I couldn't hear the baffle stricks but I did feel something was wrong. Joe said the first 5 baffles had a larger hole. He recored it with the latest all stainless baffle assembly and the new and improved endcap. He said it will be shorter do to the different end cap. I paid for shipping there, he fixed it and shipped it back for free. This was CLEARLY my fault and I told him that. |
i agree he even likes to be asked questions about it products {or sure acts like it} when you call..he is truly a great guy to deal with. i called a few times when i ordered my omega 30 and he was very polite! |

Same experience here. Joe is a very stand up guy. He stands behind his products and they are very impressive in performance. Almost everyone in the industry is using some kind of "K" baffle variant while Joe stands out from the rest using his Omega baffle. This baffle design is very efficient and I have found that it has less backpressure (resulting in less gas in your face and less fouling in the action) than the typical K baffle designs. I'm extremely pleased with his suppressors and service. |

I have never heard anything bad about Joe at SWR, everything I have ever heard is that he is a genuinly nice guy and terrific to deal with. I just recently picked up my approved Omega30 yesterday though from my dealer. I placed the order with my dealer back in the beginning of June, when my dealer ordered it, Joe's response was that he was in the middle of making them and that they would be done in about 2 weeks. Ok, no problem as I can certainly wait. 2.5 weeks later, my dealer calls to see if he can get the serial number at which time he is told it would be another 2 weeks. Another 2.5 weeks later, my dealer calls again at which time he was told it would be another 2 weeks. That went on until mid August. I was getting to the point of withdrawing my order and going with something else when the Form3 went through and I was able to send off the Form4. Now, I understand that things take time and anymore delivery times from NFA manufacturers can be a while-but tell me how long it will be up front. I'll wait a year if I need to, just tell me up front. Now, the kicker to the whole process was that Joe said that he was extremely appologetic for the delay and offered me a Warlock suppressor as long as I paid for the transfer tax. I think Joe went above and beyond what most other manufacturers would have done to make up for the delay. He could have just as easily let it go. While the continual delays were an inconvenience, the fact that he went so far as to offer me a free .22 suppressor to make up for it just goes to show how far he will go to make his customer happy and is something that will make me consider and recommend SWR suppressors in the future. |

Yup. Customer service there is top notch. My SWR HEMS somehow had the end cap stuck tight on it after shooting it on a USP Tactical. It just wouldn't budge. I ended up sending it back in and he removed the stuck end cap and gave me a new one for no charge. I upgraded my HEMS to the newest variant and haven't had any problems with it. |

You know, I have several SWR items, either cans, 10/22 suppressed barrel, and Ruger Mark II suppressed. I have never dealt directly with Joe.....But my dealer always tells me if I have any problem whatsoever, Joe will take care of it, and that's good enough for me. |

I got my Trident endcap stuck on the damn can. Why? Probably had to do with shooting it with media in the can, and then not cleaning the module when done. Oh, and a 9mm beta makes grown men act stupidly. Anyway, I told Joe that my 3-lug module was on there, TIGHT...he told me to strap wrench it, spanner wrench it, or maybe use a drill bit in one of the holes and tug it loose. No dice. In fact, I scratched the damn thing trying some channel locks on it. Joe told me to send it in and he would stick in in the lathe and pop it loose. Which he did. When he called me to ask where to send the now "fixed" suppressor, I asked him how much I owed him for his time, "Nothing. It was easy. Go easy on the beta mags, there is a little lead build-up from the Special-K ammo." When I got the can back, it had my old 3-lug module and a NEW 3-lug module. No charge, even though I TOLD him I was being abusive and had actually scratched the finish on the 3-lug trying to be a basement gunsmith. It was supremely refreshing. |
