That was the idea behind the FNC
There's really no point, if you want .223 there's no gun better than the AR, and nothing in development will come close for a LONG time...

DSA displayed a prototype at the last SHOT show. Apparently they`re having problems getting it to run well. It`s not a copy of the Brazilian 5.56 mm FAL.

I also heard DSA was making one. I can't really see why, but hey....whatever flicks your bic
