Is there a chart or site out there that shows a list of all the different bullets available in .224 and their BC?

That information would come from the individuatl manufacturers.

Yes I know.  I was hoping somone had already gathered ALL the manufactorers (hornady, Sierra, Speer, etc)  bullet & BC data into one handy list

I found an online  list of bullet coefficients for almost all major bullet mfgs which is current as of 03/18/09
I don't remember where I found it, but I do have it saved as an Excel file.

If you would like it, e-mail me & I will forward it as an attechement. If it's not 100% accurate I'll refund your money.

How come alot of Match Bullets are Hollow Point?  I would think it would be better for them to have a point end?

They are open tip. not really a hollow point.

It's easier to make a precision bullet by forming the jacket then swaging a lead core inside.

The reason the cores are short is to save weight and have a bullet with a higher BC because the "nose cone" is longer.  Weight in the nose only makes the bullet harder to stabilize.  Think of the bullet as if it were a spinning top.  Mass nearest the maximum diameter contributes most to gyroscopic stability.

That's the old way( hollow points ), the new way is using a polymer ballisitic tip( like a Hornady A-MAX bullet ) it keeps the weigth off the front of the bullet for better external ballisitics. That's IMHO.
