I was offered a Remington 700 XCR in .270 WSM at too good a price to turn down.  My .270 Blaser does very well on antelopes with 130 gr Interlock bullets.  What bullets should I try in the new .270 WSM for antleope out to 600 meters where wind is always a consideration?  Thank you for the help.

Your favorite bullets for your .270 Winchester will most likely be your favorite bullets in your .270 WSM....there is not enough difference in performance between these two to really be concerned about one holding the edge over the other.  That being said, I would try Berger VLD bullets for those ranges...if you want to stay with Barnes, I get better performance on longer ranges with the MRX than I do with the TSX or tipped TSX....the Tungsten in the butt of the MRX seems to make the bullet go to sleep sooner than the all copper versions.  Hornady has also come out with their version of the tipped TSX, the GMX (I believe), and it is offered in the favorite weights per caliber that Hornady has always offered.

Good Luck, and happy loading/hunting!

Funny...

I have had the exact opposite results....at least in my 308. I have shot the 150 gr TSX and MRX thru my Rem 26" bolt.  It seems that the TSX was good for about .5MOA less at any range than the MRX...edited to add that this is my hunting load...does slightly over 3000fps with Laupa brass and Varget....not optimized for accuracy...

In my 270 win (Howa 1500) I run the 130 TSX.

For a small animal like an antelope...shoot the TSX 130s.  Get a chrono and crank up the pressures.  This bullet has a good BC and just flys....

.5 MOA better than the MRX?  Wow....I have a .30-06 that I cannot tell the difference in accuracy with the two bullets, but my 7mm (the gun whose data I was using above) shoots the MRX better at long distance than the TSX.  Just shows the old adage is true, all guns are different.
