Been trying to find the web site for partsbymurph. Thought I would buy a .300 Whisper upper to go on an RRA lower.

hmmm performance is not that good, and ammo is about $1.00 per round...

I say pass, a .300 fireball upper is not worth it.

Don't you reload? As for performance, you really need to try it before you knock it.

Where I live, it's Ford country. When it's quiet you can hear the Chevy's rust.
My .300 Fireball upper will cost me $590 complete and delivered. Hard to find an upper that cheap.

Just also remembered. and I'll have to check, there are a few different loads for this pup. One throws a .308 125 grain bullet at 2200 fps (supersonic) and some throw a 165 grain or 200 grain bullet at 1040 fps (subsonic). That makes things kinda special in my opinion.

you can get .300 fireball complete uppers with bolt carrier and charging handle for as low as $410.00 from www.del-ton.com look under conversion kits.

and almost every cal. you can buy subsonic rounds for use with silencers.

Dern, just sent my mo out. Oh, well. I did get a DPMS upper with Hi-Riser, 16" Oly ss barrel, custom handguards and gas block.
