I got a  .45 caliber can so I am going to start loading 45. Anyone have any pet loads they would like to share? I currently only load 10mm for pistol rounds so the only powders I have are 800-X, Power Pistol and Accurate #7. My understanding is I can use the #7 but its less than ideal. Shouldn't be a problem to get different powders though. It's being shot out of a USP 45 with a  Revolution 45 if that matters.

Anything will work since 45 rarely tops out over 1000fps. I use TG & Unique, following powder mfg and or bullet load data.

This. Plated 200 grain bullets pushed to about 950 fps should be just about perfect, and pretty darn cheap. I use Unique for my 45 loads. For plated bullets, start with lead data (the powder charges will be slightly lower) and work your way up.

Thanks. I managed to pick up some Berry's 230 grain plated and some Bullseye this morning.

Don't forget Bullseye and WW231. While I have loaded a huge amount with Unique both the former will burn much cleaner - Which is double ++ for suppressor use.

I use 5.2gr of W231 and Zero 230gr

Your 3 powders is too slow in most respects, the stuff still be burning and gas expanding when it leave barrel and hit the can..

Faster speed powder powders be better choice.. I use Titegroup for my 9mm suppressor loads
