The lower on my H&K SR9 slides front to back about 4mm.  How can I fix this?

Thanks!

I had the same issue with my Springfield Armory SAR3. The HK smith I took it to added a small braze on the "half moon" clearance cuts for the take down pin in the trigger group housing. Then he shaped to fit tight, reparked and repainted the housing black to match the rest of the firearm.

I have a HK93 with the same issue, but it was the lower that caused it. The rifle has 20k rounds at least down the pipe. I have a picture of me holding it when I was 10 I'm 32 now. It even did a detail for a couple years with a family member.

My SW SP10 has play front to back as well, not terrible but noticeable when shouldered.  Any easy way to shim the lower trigger pack shelf at home?

One of those self-adhesive little round felt pads from the hardware store applied to the reciever or lower (or both) where they mate works good.  Also, an O-ring (about 1.25" or so) with about one-third of it removed placed in the reciever where the rear of the handguard mates will take most of the slop out there.
