I have two congo fal's.  I am converting one to a 16 inch para.  What I want to know is the stock weight of a 16 inch para first off. Then, if anyone has this configuration, what is the weight of a 16 inch para with a railed topcover and a quadrail?  Tryng to decide if I want to go with the quad as well.

Thanks in advance, and pics would be great too!!

My 17.25" barreled Para is 10.6 lbs with an empty steel mag and no optics.  Specs are as follows:

Imbel NGL Rec'r
Imbel parts kit w/non-bipod cut barrel cut down to 17.25"
Imbel para lower
Dan's Grip
DSA Para Scope Mount
YHM Phantom Flash hider
DSA handguards

YMMV.  Pics to follow.

Aluminum lower would help in the weight area.
