| Need some help, I have a RRA AR10. I am trying to reload with RCBS 308 WIN SB/TC AR die set. I have the trim length and the C.O.L spot on and it still will NOT load in the gun. die is set correctly in my Hornady single stag press. Don't have a clue what is wrong, HELP !!! |

Lower die 1/16 turn, resize a case, wipe off the lube and attemp to chamber. Repeat until cases chambers and ejects normally. This is the old school way. What we use currently to set our sizing dies is a headspace gauge attached to a caliper. Like this, 223 shown. |
| I always full length resize (RCBS set up) for my DPMS LAR AR-10 and no problems. I trim to recommended (OAL) length and (slightly) use a LEE factory crimp (using BLC-2 w/ 145 gr. FMJ). Check your empty case OAL, full length resize (check for chambering before reloading) and double check your loaded OAL. You can 'reload' a dummy round (no primer or powder) as your test case and for future reference. |
