Looking for a chest rig for a big guy, something to carry 3-4 AR mags and have some webbing for adding on later. Any ideas on a good product that'll last but not break the bank? I was looking at some of the Eagle rigs on SKD's site, how large do they go?

Here is a good one. Can be adjusted fairly large, not sure how big you have to go. The price is very good for high quality, USA made gear. Customer service is great too.

+1

I'm 6' 5", 245 lbs and I use the Tactical Tailor MAV (two-piece). It fit me pretty good. I recently added the X Harness to it and now it's even better. In fact I had to really cinch it down to get a snug -ish fit after adding the X Harness. I think now it could probably be adjusted to fit someone who weighs a good 30 lbs or more than me.

6'1, 270ish, 50L suit jacket, and I have no problems with the ATS Tactical rig. I love mine.

ATS M4 rig

They also make a lo-pro and a 7.62 rifle rig to the same general configuration.

Yes this rig. I am 6'6" and 285 and wear this same rig over my uniform and body armor and it fits perfect. I love mine. I also have a TT mav and had a blackhawk recon and the ATS beats them hands down.
