I'm retired and have a 870 Police Magnum with a 20 inch barrel. Does any one have experience with threading one of these barrels for choke tubes? I like the short barrel length and think it would make a great game bird gun. thanks

I believe you can buy a 20 inch barrel with choke tube already in it. Otherwise call Briley Manufacturing, they do awesome work.

I use a 20" rifle sighted, choke tubed barrel for my 870 turkey gun (and sometimes in the 3 gun matches). I like that set up, I say go for it!

Where to get tubes installed on your barrel? Just check your PM.

Picking my 18.5 inch tomorrow. Local gunsmith charges $60 dollars and that includes one choke.
