It's POSSIBLE you might regret not doing it. Look at this way, if you get a crappy stock, you'll spend more than that replacing it. Get the service grade. |

If you are going to pick one out at one of the stores, you might do well at finding a field grade that is in pretty good shape. If on the other hand you are going to order one and have it shipped, then you should consider buying the service grade. You will end up with a rifle with more barrel life left in it, and the overall condition will be better. I would say spend the extra bucks for the service grade. Expect a long wait, they are really bogged down with orders, but send in your paper work so that it will be in the queue. They will process it as soon as they can get to it.
