What caliber are you looking for ? Will she be comfortable with the caliber choice? How big are her hands , physically that is, can she get a good comfortable grip on those firearms listed? The Sig 232 is also very nice for its use.

Makarov.  More reliable than any of them.

My wife likes the little Kahrs (PM9 and P380) better than any other pistol.  They are reliable and surprsingly accurate.

Another +1 for the Kahr. I love my PM9. Most accurate and smooth pocket gun I've had (based on shooting about every sub revolver, Keltecs, Maks, Sigs, PPKs, AMTs). But, as bfoosh06 stated, fit in the hand is very important to accurate shooting of any pocket gun.

Kel-Tec P3AT - very concealable, reliable, easy to use ................ I don't have experience with any others.

Here's mine with laser and grip-extenders (ammo is Winchester Silver-Tip HP's):

I have a Kahr PM9, but have recently started carrying a Glock 19, and my best friend prefers her Sig.  get her the gun she's willing to carry and to practice with.

and read this, please.

it has to fit HER, not us.

ETA:  I'm understand "small hands need a smaller frame," but small guns have big kicks, and shorter barrels require more practice.  focus on single stack if she has small hands.

Have a G19 an Glock 27 but looking for something smaller. The 27 in 40 cal even  jumps out of my hands. She wants something smaller. Normal size female hands and 9mm or 380 - I prefer 9mm myself.

have her try a Kahr - if she holds onto it, the kick is almost welcome...  I love mine - my friends hate it.
Sig P239, too...

basically, have her hold a few, see what she likes, and then have her shoot with them...  can rent them at lots of ranges...

Whatever it is, make sure she can cycle the slide. My girl has trouble with the slides on alot of subcompacts, which IMHO is a no-go for a carry gun. She does however, like the Beretta Tomcat .32

She can chamber and clear it without working the slide, fits her little hands, fits in all of her purses or jacket pockets, and has a manual safety.

Took her a few range trips, but she was bagging head shots at 15 meters with it rapid fire.

Depends on the girl. I made the mistake once of assuming the ladysmith would suite a ladyfriend. She had differnet ideas, and I had to buy another G30.

Whichever one she likes best of the three.

See if you can't find a range that will rent you pistols.

The one she picks out. There is no other correct answer.

Yup.  Take her to the store, see what fits her hand *and* she can actually carry on a daily basis.

Anything that's too big will get stuck in a purse or left in the car.  Womens clothes are usually much tighter than guys, the pockets are not as deep, etc.  I can pocket carry a CZ-82 in shorts without a problem, while the butt of a J frame might stick out the top of the pocket in girl pants.

Kahr. But not cw models. the slide release is prone to break.

If you must buy a 380 get the river as kel tec has spotty performance. But buy the laser because they are hard to shoot well. And they are kicky.

Just buy her a kahr Pm9. Or walther pps.

I was gonna get my GF a S&W .38 and be done with it, then while at the range a friend happened to be working and let us take every rental 380 out.  She'll be getting a P3AT shortly.  She stand the power of the 38 special and has agreed to do regular failure training on the P3AT (i wanted to get her a revolved so she could just keep pulling the trigger no matter what)
