What is the main difference between a commando and a classic. I have a local dealrer with a commando for 1850.00.

Firstly color, green vs black. They also put a better hooded front sight on vs the plain fat blade on the Commando.

The main difference is the lower receiver between the two. The Commando is on the standard(old) lower that is being phased-out and future lowers will be the Classic lower.
